Order veggie when you eat out

Whether you’re celebrating, treating yourself or just grabbing lunch, so many restaurants have fab veggie choices. Try something new for #NationalVegetarianWeek – it’s the perfect time!

Be a hero, buy a Super Dish!

This year to celebrate National Vegetarian Week, a bunch of fantastic cafes and restaurants all around Manchester are partnering with us on a new pilot scheme. They’ve each picked a delicious vegetarian option from their menu and called it their Super Dish. Throughout May, every time someone orders that dish, the cafe or restaurant will donate 50p to the Vegetarian Society.

Head over to one of our fabulous partners:

Cottonopolis, Manchester — Aubergine nasu genkean with miso glaze, sesame and daikon.

Bread & Fishes, Altrincham — Roasted red peppers and sweet potato soup with toasted seeds and sourdough.

Plucky Pickle, Altrincham — The Veneto salad or sandwich made with mozzarella, charred courgette, British asparagus, roasted pickled peppers and local organic salad leaves.

Pres, Prestwich Village — Rainbow Wrap: halloumi, rainbow slaw, kimchi and avocado.

The Con Club, Altrincham — Salt-and-pepper tofu, with spicy herbed udon noodles, soy, mirin, choi, edemame beans and crispy vermicelli.
